Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, edit, and enhance AI-generated English content for grammar, syntax, clarity, and style.
  • Conduct in-depth research to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information used for AI training.
  • Apply AP Style, copyediting, and proofreading best practices to a diverse array of texts.
  • Develop and refine writing prompts, tone guidelines, and stylistic parameters for language models.
  • Analyze and annotate text data to improve AI language comprehension and generation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and ensure linguistic quality.
  • Provide feedback to continuously optimize AI model outputs and training processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in English, with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, and language structure.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in copyediting, proofreading, or linguistics roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading comprehension and adapting to various writing styles and tones.
  • Proficient in AP Style and other recognized editorial standards.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information.
  • Experience working with or training language models is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and empathy.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or related language-focused fields.
  • Exposure to AI training environments or similar data annotation projects.
