Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize game scenarios utilizing MonoGame, libGDX, and/or Cocos2d-x frameworks.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to develop and refine environments used for training advanced AI agents.
  • Translate gameplay requirements into scalable, reusable code components.
  • Debug and enhance existing codebases, ensuring quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Document technical designs and workflows clearly to support knowledge transfer across the team.
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and sharing expertise in game framework best practices.
  • Effectively communicate progress and challenges through strong written and verbal skills.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional experience developing games with MonoGame, libGDX, or Cocos2d-x.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Java, with the ability to adapt to related languages and technologies.
  • Solid understanding of game architecture, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear articulation is a must.
  • Proficiency in debugging complex systems and maintaining clean, efficient code.
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging game frameworks in support of AI research initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working on AI agent or machine learning projects within a gaming or simulation context.
  • Familiarity with the basics of AI model training and reinforcement learning environments.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or gaming communities.
