Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Phonetics Expert, where your deep linguistic knowledge and native-level English proficiency will drive high-impact language analysis. You will play a pivotal role in transcribing multimedia content, analyzing nuanced language attributes, and supporting complex linguistic tasks within a collaborative, remote environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe video content with exceptional accuracy, clearly marking timestamps and capturing nuanced verbal elements.
  • Analyze the emotional tone and intent of speakers, describing their expressiveness and mood in detail.
  • Evaluate and document grammatical structures and language patterns across diverse multimedia resources.
  • Define key words and phrases, exploring their conceptual meanings and contextual relevance.
  • Deliver insightful written and verbal reports with a focus on clarity, depth, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the customer's team to tackle advanced language and phonetic tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain strict consistency and quality standards in all transcription and linguistic analysis work.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native-level English proficiency with a strong command of spoken and written communication.
  • Advanced understanding of phonetics, phonology, and language analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience in transcription, with meticulous attention to detail in marking timestamps and speaker cues.
  • Ability to interpret and describe speaker emotion, tone, and intent with accuracy.
  • Deep familiarity with grammar, semantics, and language use in diverse contexts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—clarity, care, and professionalism are essential.
  • Availability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced academic background in linguistics, phonetics, or a related field.
  • Experience with complex language research or analysis projects.
