Join our customer’s team as a Voice Actress specializing in US/Canada accents and bring scripts to life with authenticity, clarity, and emotional impact. In this expert-level role, your voice will play a key part in shaping engaging audio experiences across a variety of projects, helping train and refine next-generation AI systems and creative productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality voice performances in a natural US or Canadian accent across commercial, narrative, and conversational scripts.
- Interpret scripts with emotional depth and nuance, adapting tone, pacing, and delivery based on direction.
- Participate in live or recorded direction sessions to refine performance and ensure alignment with creative goals.
- Record clean, professional-grade audio from a home studio setup, maintaining consistency and clarity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including producers, linguists, and AI specialists.
- Revise and re-record content based on feedback to meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Organize and submit recordings efficiently while maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native or near-native fluency in English with a clear US or Canadian accent.
- Strong vocal control with the ability to convey emotion, tone shifts, and natural conversational flow.
- Experience with voice recording tools (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar) and basic audio editing.
- Access to a quiet recording environment and a quality microphone setup.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work setting.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating voice work (commercial, narration, character, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in voice acting, dubbing, podcasting, or content creation.
- Background in acting, broadcasting, or performance arts.
- Familiarity with AI voice/data collection projects or speech training datasets.
- Ability to perform multiple tones or subtle character variations within a neutral accent range.
